I’m in a huge career pivot which involves me following the new vision of becoming a full time painter. I started with the first step of joining an amazing online school to learn professional painting skills and business. I’m going into the unknown mixed with self doubt — will I even be “good” at this? How can I be a full time artist when others have been painting for their entire lives?

Wow I can’t believe I’m reading this on today of all days. After I’ve spent the last 9 hours between writing my own first sub stack post, looking at jobs for the first time in years, wondering who I am and what I want, reflecting on how I will move forward as an artist (after releasing my first album last month). So many of these feelings, doubts, emotions… are deeply shared. Also 32. I was scared. Maybe I still am? Haha truly still figuring this shit out. Thank you for your perspective and thoughts. I feel less alone and a spark of inspiration and magic and courage. Beautiful words. I can’t wait to read more! Subscribed.
